Who We Are
Deborah Donnelly, creator of the Wedding Planner mysteries,
is a sea captain's daughter who grew up in Panama, Cape
Cod, and points in between. She has a bachelors degree in
English literature from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota,
and a masters degree in library science from the University
of Washington, Seattle.
Deborah has been a university librarian, a corporate speechwriter,
a nanny, and a science fiction writer. Her short stories
have appeared in Asimov's, Universe, and Fantasy & Science
Fiction, as well as being translated into Italian, Portuguese,
Polish and Lithuanian.
A long-time resident of Seattle, Deborah now lives in Boise,
Idaho with her writer husband, Steven Bryan Bieler, and
their two Welsh corgis.
Roberta Isleib is a New Jersey born clinical psychologist
who's spent more than half of her life in school, including
Princeton University, the University of Tennessee, and the
University of Florida.
She was introduced to the game of golf by her husband-to-be
in 1991, and hooked not long after. She took up writing
about golf in order to justify the time spent maintaining
a whopping handicap. In addition to her golf mystery series,
her articles on golf psychology have appeared in Women's
World of Golf, Golf for Women, Tee Time, and National Golfer.
Roberta lives with her family in Madison, Connecticut.
With a background in film, television news and public relations,
Libby Fischer Hellmann has been writing all her life. She
turned to fiction six years ago. In addition to her amateur
sleuth series, she has published many short stories in both
American and British publications.
When she's not writing, Libby writes and produces videos.
She also coaches individuals and groups in presentation
skills, speech delivery, and media interviews. Although
she was born and raised in Washington, D.C., she's been
living in the Chicago area over twenty years with her husband,
two teen-agers, and a Beagle, shamelessly named Shiloh.
